A client contacted us shortly after separating from their partner. Although no direct threats had been made, the former partner appeared to have knowledge of private conversations and movements that had never been shared.
The client became concerned their home — or possibly their vehicle — may have been monitored.

The Concern

Objectives
We agreed a discreet inspection to:

Our Approach
We arranged a visit at a time suitable for the client and conducted a full Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures (TSCM) sweep of the property.
The inspection included:
- systematic physical search of rooms and furnishings
- radio frequency detection for transmitting devices
- non-linear junction detection to locate hidden electronics
- inspection of smoke detectors, power outlets and common concealment points
- vehicle tracker inspection
The process was explained beforehand so the client knew exactly what we would — and would not — be doing.
All work was conducted discreetly and respectfully within the client’s home environment.
Findings
No listening devices or covert trackers were located.
This result was significant. The client now had professional confirmation that their home and vehicle were not under technical surveillance at the time of the inspection.
We also identified how the former partner was likely gaining information through non-technical means, and provided practical steps to improve privacy and personal security.
The Outcome
Following the inspection, the client reported a substantial reduction in anxiety. They were able to make decisions and communicate freely without fear of being monitored.
